  • San Anton is a small village in the Tyrolean Alps in Austria and a true gem.My jaw was not just at the floor but at the base of the mountain the entire trip, absolutely blown away by the natural beauty of the alps and how special this region of Austria is. It is impossible to do it justice.

Prior to our trip, I didn’t know “skiing in St. Anton” really means skiing San Anton + five mountains in the Am Arlberg region with little villages and amazing restaurants on each one. St. Anton is credited with the invention of alpine skiing and is one of the world’s largest ski areas with 500km of piste and off-piste runs. During our trip in March, we were super lucky to get snow each night with spring skiing weather during the days and we skied anywhere from 3-5 mountains everyday.

In addition to world class runs, St. Anton is also famous for its après scene. There are lively bars all over the mountain (ski-in, fall-out and back down), packed with Europeans dancing in their ski boots and slinging jäger bombs. The village of St. Anton (and villages at the nearby mountains) are incredibly charming and the restaurants on and off the mountain are amazing.
