Malta Travel Guide
Malta is a captivating archipelago in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, between Sicily and North Africa, known for its rich history, beautiful beaches and electric waters, and unique blend of European and African cultures.
With a history that spans over 7,000 years, the islands offer prehistoric temples, ancient fortifications, and baroque architecture, bearing testament to past civilizations from the Phoenicians to the Knights of St. John. The crystal-clear blue waters invite beach lovers and divers alike to explore its underwater caves and vibrant coasts.
In addition to the unique history and beautiful scenery, Maltese cuisine is an enticing mix of Mediterranean flavor and another unique aspect of visiting the islands. Malta also offers year-round festivals, a lively arts scene, and welcoming locals. There are so many incredible places to visit in Malta but the highlight of my trip to Malta was a day trip to the Blue Lagoon where we spent the day swimming, climbing cliffs, and boating.
